Footprints Family Childcare

 My name is Linda and my son Skyler has gone to Footprints Family Daycare since he was six weeks old and he is currently two and a half.  I am an active duty Sailor and have been stationed in San Diego for three years and I was blessed to find the Delacruz family.  Being in the military there are times when we have duty, training, or go on deployment and there is no greater feeling then knowing that even when you’re gone your family is taken care of.  Having them as providers for my son has put my mind at ease while I am away;   it’s always the child first.
    Footprints Family Daycare is not only a daycare center but I believe it to be a learning center as well.  My son has a schedule that includes meal time, arts and crafts, play time, school (learning),  and nap time.  All of his meals are cooked by Ate Valerie or Auntie Eden which is always a plus because I know they can always get my son to eat.   A lot of the knowledge my son has acquired is because of their daycare, he can recognize numbers, his cognitive abilities have improved immensely, he knows colors, mannerisms, and soon he will be learning to write.  I do not know many daycare centers who take the time to teach, but they also take the time to love.  I can honestly say that my son is successful and growing to be a little gentleman because of them.  The houses are always spotless and welcoming; my son is rarely sick which shows how well they clean/disinfect the toys and their home.  My son is like family to them and every day I thank the Lord for bringing them into our lives.  I would recommend this daycare to anyone who wants a bright start for their children.

Bella absolutely loves going to daycare these days! I am in awe when she signs to me too! I think it’s amazing what you do with the children. You definitely have a gift. I’ve seen a lot of progress in her development as well. Her speech is improving and so are her social skills.  I also appreciate the fact you keep the parents in the loop of what is going on and you have active parent participation.  As a parent, it means a lot to me to know what my child is up to during the day!
